THESE MAJOR AIRLINES ARE OFFERING ONE-WAY FLIGHTS TO EUROPE FOR JUST 15,000 MILES — HOW TO BOOK

The deal ends after September.

Want to get away to Europe? Travelers can score one-way flights for as little as 15,000 airline miles with this little-known frequent flier program.

Air France and KLM, two of the largest airlines in Europe, share a loyalty program known as Flying Blue, which has new promotional deals on select routes every month. For September 2024, these offers can be booked for travel dates through February 28, 2025, though flights are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Get up to 25 percent off and go further with your miles!” the program shared about the promotion on its website. “New Promo reward tickets are released on the first weekday of each month. You may spot your dream destination; where would you like to go?”

Travel + Leisure found these routes on sale with wide-open availability from these North American cities over the next six months:

  • Newark (EWR): 15,000 miles for a one-way, economy ticket to/from Europe
  • Las Vegas (LAS): 15,000 miles for a one-way, economy ticket to/from Europe
  • Montreal (YUL): 26,250 miles for a one-way, premium economy ticket to/from Europe
  • Ottawa (YOW): 37,500 miles for a one-way, business class ticket to/from Europe
  • Phoenix (PHX): 15,000 miles for a one-way, economy ticket to/from Europe
  • Washington, D.C. (IAD): 15,000 miles for a one-way, economy ticket to/from Europe

Air France and KLM fly to dozens of European cities from its hubs in Paris and Amsterdam, respectively. For instance, travelers can book a one-way ticket from Phoenix to Rome with a quick layover in Paris, all for the 15,000-mile rate.

Best of all, Flying Blue miles can be earned instantly through major credit card programs at a convenient 1:1 transfer rate. This includes American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou Rewards, and Wells Fargo Rewards. Cardholders simply log into their account portal and transfer 15,000 credit card points to receive 15,000 Flying Blue miles instantly, allowing them to book any of these award flights.
